For this simple no-bake recipe for Key Lime Pie, you will need:
Crust
- Finely Crushed Graham Crackers
- Light Brown Sugar
- Sweet Cream Butter (melted)
Filling
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Yogurt
- Fresh Lime Zest
- Fresh Lime Juice
Topping
- Heavy Cream
- Sugar
- Lime Zest
- Lime Slices
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare your crust by covering a pie tin with a mixture of your freshly crushed graham crackers, light brown sugar and melted sweet cream butter. Ensure that the bottom of the dish is completely covered. Place in the freezer to form.
Step 2: Whisk heavy cream, sugar and lime zest for the topping. Leave to chill in the fridge.
Step 3: Mix sweetened condensed milk, yogurt, fresh lime zest and fresh lime juice by hand or in a mixer.
Step 4: Retrieve pie crust and topping. Carefully transfer the fling to the pie crust and smooth into one even layer. Place in the refrigerator to solidify for approximately 10 minutes.
