Cycling in the Magic City
Jack Davis ditches public transportation and opts to ride his bicycle just about everywhere. When you live in such a beautiful city like Miami, why not? For Davis, cycling is a part of life. More than just a method of transportation, he is also passionate about the larger cycling lifestyle. He has made it his goal to take on all of the top trails for cycling in Miami in 2025. So far, he has already completed Aventura Circle, Commodore Trail via Myers Park, Old Cutler Trail and Dante Fascell Park to Matheson Hammock Loop. In the past, Davis has put together bike tours along the coast.
Coffee Scene
Nothing says Miami quite like a slice of key lime pie and fresh brewed coffee! Well, not exactly the coffee part… But that’s something that the Magic City is setting out to change. In recent years, the coffee scene has really taken off. The truth is, culture has been infused into the coffee of the city for decades. But it wasn’t until recently that the coffee scene itself started to heat up. You might not expect a hot climate space like the Magic City to be home to the best cup of coffee — but if you ask Jack Davis: it certainly is. To this Travel Guide Writer, no visit to the area is complete without stopping for a sweet and refreshing slice of key lime pie and a fresh brewed coffee. (Cold brew is fine, if that’s your jive!)
